Opportunities for Volunteers and those seeking Work Experience at Parham
Whatever your motivation for volunteering, we have a wide range of opportunities for you and can make effective use of almost any skill, experience, interest, talent or time you can offer.
We encourage and welcome volunteers of all ages and from all backgrounds. So whether you are seeking to develop new interests, friends, contacts, skills or experience, we invite you to come to one of our open-mornings, held on the first Wednesday of each month between 10.30am and 13.30pm – known as the ‘Parham Picnic Club’. This is an opportunity for Volunteers, old and new, to gather together. It’s a chance to meet like-minded individuals, learn more about current volunteering roles, plus the opportunity to receive updates or training and to undertake various projects or tasks as part of a working party.
Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided and you are invited to bring your own picnic lunch.
The Parham Picnic Club will meet on the forthcoming dates:
Wednesday 6th July 2016
Wednesday 3rd August 2016
Wednesday 7th September 2016
Once volunteers are known to us, and have undertaken appropriate induction training, there will be opportunities to support with specific roles, examples of which will feature below within the coming weeks.
So if you want to connect with others, make new friends and contacts, make a valued contribution, increase your self-confidence and self-esteem, develop your skills, get more active and have fun – then why not come and join us!
We invite all Volunteers to download the following documents and return them by post, or in person to: Miriam Tong, General Manager, Parham Park, Pulborough, West Sussex RH20 4HS
