Accessibility

Everyone is warmly welcomed to Parham, but visitors with mobility issues should be aware that they may not be able to access all areas.

Arrival & Car Park Facilities:
There is ample parking for Blue Badge holders adjacent to the House in a designated accessible car park.

Parham House:
Wheelchair users are able to access the ground floor rooms of the House. Please arrange with Admissions on arrival to gain access from 2pm.

The three ground floor rooms which are accessible to wheelchair users are the Great Hall, the Great Parlour and the Saloon, via two separate ramps.

There is no wheelchair access to the first and second floors, however the House has wide staircases which are fitted with handrails on both sides of the staircase.

Wheelchairs & Mobility Scooters:
Because of the age and fragility of the flooring, we are not able to admit powered/battery wheelchairs into the House.

Gardens:
The Gardens are for the most part flat. Some of the paths are uneven in places and can become unsuitable for wheelchair users during wet weather.

WC Facilities – The accessible WC is located in Fountain Court.

Assistance Dogs – Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas, including the House.
