Discover the richly textured world of Worthing-based textile artist Jane Robinson, where hand-stitching, mixed media, and machine work collide in a vibrant fusion of tradition and modernity. Inspired by the opulence of Tudor and Elizabethan portraits at Parham House, alongside its gardens, global influences from India, and the natural beauty of rocks and fossils, her work shimmers with colour, texture, and storytelling.

Parham House is home to one of the finest collections of 16th and 17th century needlework and embroidery in the country.

From Wednesday 5^th Aug – Wednesday 30th Sept, we’re bringing even more of this fascinating collection out of storage. Rarely displayed pieces of historic embroidery will be on show throughout House opening hours, offering a unique opportunity to see these beautiful textiles up close.

Some of the South East’s best specialists nurseries will be selling a wide range of locally grown and unusual plants. We welcome back the HSBA to Parham to exhibit their fine botanical work. The Horsham School of Botanical Artists will be staging a three week exhibition of drawings and paintings to view in the Seed Room.
