Gift Aid Statement
Parham Park Ltd is a Registered Charity and thanks to the generous donations of our visitors is able to claim back approximately £10,000 a year under the Gift Aid Scheme. All money raised in this way goes directly towards significant repair and conservation projects.
What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a government scheme where charities can reclaim money on your contribution from HM Revenue & Customs.
If you are a UK taxpayer we can reclaim 25p for every £1 you give us.
Why do I have to pay more on a day admission in order to Gift Aid?
HMRC stipulates that:
Entry fees to visit and view a charity property don’t qualify for Gift Aid because they are not a gift. But a voluntary donation that allows visitors to view a property may qualify for Gift Aid.
Donations qualify when they are 10% or more than the normal admission fee*
Additionally, visitors must be given a choice to pay the normal entry fee only or the admission price plus a donation at the time of entry.
*These guidelines are not applicable to annual memberships.
