Parham’s Walled Garden has been cultivated for many hundreds of years and it is continually evolving, exciting and inspiring visitors whilst at the same time preserving the spirit of this historic place. The tranquil and beautiful Pleasure Grounds were first laid out in the 18th century.
Fifty years ago, the Garden was predominantly a “working” one, and it and the grounds surrounding the House were looked after by a team of almost 20 gardeners. Since then, a small, very dynamic and dedicated team have established Parham’s Gardens as amongst the finest in the south of England.
We are extremely grateful also to have a superb group of Garden Volunteers, who make an enormous and invaluable contribution to the beauty of Parham’s Garden and Pleasure Grounds.
