We’ve been busy getting the House and Gardens ready for the 2019 season. With a new series of tours and events lined up, excitement is building here as we look forward to the year ahead.
Our Needlework on Display is returning by popular request after last year, giving visitors an opportunity to discover in more detail Parham’s needlework collection, including items that are not normally on view. Needlework enthusiasts will also have the chance to stitch their own masterpiece with our Embroidery Masterclass led by Royal School of Needlework tutor, Chrissie Juno Mann.
Other highlights include our annual Parham Garden Weekend in July. Dedicated to showcasing the very best in horticulture, our flagship event will invite visitors to enjoy a weekend of fascinating talks and demonstrations from a host of guest speakers and our own Garden team.
We will also be hosting a new event this October, A Taste of Parham. Bringing together the best of homemade food, locally grown produce and estate life, visitors will be able to enjoy a veritable feast of activities including deer walks, growing advice and cookery demonstrations.
In addition to our exciting events, we will be introducing a new series of Special Guided Tours of the House and Gardens this year, which will be available for individuals to book. Tours include an exclusive Garden Walk with Parham Head Gardener Tom Brown and special interest tours on Parham’s clocks as well as tours of the House with Parham’s expert Guides.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back on Sunday 21 April for our Easter opening and throughout our wonderful season.
